hi tux-lovers!
I've got RedHat 7 and a Yamaha corporation YMF-724F [ DS-1 AUDIO
CONTROLLER] sound card.
I configured the card for sound and its working fine with GNOME- sound
events, CD player. but I'm not able to get my mic working.
I set the mic in the menu->multimedia->audio mixer program,every thing I
speak ito the mic gets amplified and reproduced in the speakers. but
when I run the sound recorder to record my voice, an error-"Sounddevice
not ready! Please check that there isn't another program runnning that's
using the sounddevice." .
I don't know what to do. is it a problem with my driver? and if so
has the bug been fixed and where can I get the fix from? or is it a
problem with my mic- technical problem?
is there anyone who has the same problem? anyone who been able to
solve it?
please help me.
