Binu Rajamani rearranged electrons thusly:

> hda: status timeout: status=0xd0 ( Busy )
> hda: no DRQ after issuing WRITE
> ide0: unexpected interrupt, status 0x80,count=11
> ide0: reset success
 
This is the old "dma hang" bug.  Use the redhat supplied config file to
recompile your kernel - that has the setting to work around this bug.

Or use hdparm to tune your disk
