I have installed PCQ kde2 on RH6.2 2.2.16-3.
For that also I had to use --force option. As written in the article
only with --nodeps, it didn't get installed. Previously I had gdm
starting. To test kde2 I started linux in console. Used .xinitrc as
written. I could start kde. However When I went back to start gdm, kde
didn't start as default GUI. It started only gnome. Then I inserted KDE
/etc/sysconfig/desktop file. When I restarted, neither gdm nor kdm
started. I ahd to go to console to start kde.
I would like others to share their experience in this regard.
