As such if you are purpose is moving around simple mail and no special
things to be done, all these work very well.  Just for an example, if you
have a complicated setup like central authentication using LDAP, virus
scanning using amavis or something, user restrictions to the level that
you dont want some users to send mail out and misc. stuff like that. 

I dont say that exim and postfix dont work here but sendmail wins at a
lot of places because of its flexibility.
