i don't know how to install rpms.
incidentally i got a list of files not included in the pc quest june 2000 cd .they are

ispell-czech-3.1.20-25.i386.rpm
ispell-danish-3.1.20-25.i386.rpm
ispell-dutch-3.1.20-25.i386.rpm

ispell-french-3.1.20-25.i386.rpm
ispell-german-3.1.20-25.i386.rpm
ispell-greek-3.1.20-25.i386.rpm
ispell-italian-3.1.20-25.i386.rpm
ispell-norwegian-3.1.20-25.i386.rpm
ispell-polish-3.1.20-25.i386.rpm
ispell-portuguese-3.1.20-25.i386.rpm
ispell-russian-3.1.20-25.i386.rpm

is the exclusion of these files responsible for giving me the message :
bash :rpm:command not found
if yes how do i install them.my modem doesn't run in linux.
i got a suggestion that i press alt f2 and i got the prompt
bash#
now how do i proceed to install linux.
