This is a rather regular problem ... so let me see what I've found out (but never
tried so far)

I think there are several mail clients (sylpheed, mulberry and adora come to
mind) which are cross-platform. There are apps which convert your OE folders
to standard unix MBOX format - search freshmeat .. (and btw, sylpheed uses MH
folders, but otherwise looks _exactly_ like outlook express interface-wise)

Mutt can be compiled on windows using the cygnus libraries at
http://www.cygwin.com and there's a win32 port of vim at http://www.vim.org :)

And, if you are masochistic (like Raju and a few other folks) there's always
VM/Gnus under emacs - you get both 'doze and unix versions of this. If you
switch to mutt or VM/Gnus, you dont need to switch back and forth between mail
clients at all :)

--suresh (hey, OK Raju, _dont_ wave that AK47 at me, it'll go ... _bang_)
