[LIH] [OT] Printing Problems

I know, I'm posting this off topic, but if someone can help me with this.

I have a HP 690C in home, while printing its getting some lines along the
prints (white lines over the characters, where the ink doesn't fill up)  --
I hooked it to my laptop running NT, its all the same.

Any idea, how could I get rid of that ?
