Mutt has a great addressbook - and doesn't crash whenever you open it. Neither
does Pine.
Also, I don't know what version of Netscape you are running, but several older
versions were a bit buggy. I've been using Netscape 4.76 (downloaded the
tarball and unpacked it as per the README file). Not a single complaint. Of
course, I've turned off java and javascript (and don't normally enable them
unless I absolutely have to ...)
