Hi,

I have compiled kernel 2.4 with udf read-only support.
The udf modules is also loaded.

------------------------------------------------------------
debian:~# lsmod
Module                  Size  Used by
ide-cd                 26256   1  (autoclean)
cdrom                  26560   0  (autoclean) [ide-cd]
ppp_deflate            39168   0  (autoclean)
bsd_comp                4112   0  (autoclean)
ppp_async               6160   0  (autoclean)
ppp_generic            12928   0  (autoclean) [ppp_deflate bsd_comp ppp_async]
slhc                    4560   0  (autoclean) [ppp_generic]
udf                    74192   0  (unused)
es1371                 24848   1
soundcore               3856   4  [es1371]
ac97_codec              7664   0  [es1371]
i810                   72848   0  (unused)
agpgart                14560   5
vfat                   10544   2
fat                    30624   0  [vfat]
debian:~#
------------------------------------------------------------

My /etc/fstab contains :

/dev/cdrom      /cdrom          auto    defaults,ro,user,noauto         0       0

But when I try to read a CD-RW written using Adaptec DirectCD in udf format I can
see only two files :

autorun.inf
udfrinst.exe (411K)

but not the contents. I think udfrinst.exe contains the actual contents of the CD
since
autofun.inf contains :

[autorun]
open = udfrinst.exe autorun
icon = udfrinst.exe,0

How to view this CD under Linux , if read-only support for udf is present in 2.4
kernel ?

Regards

Thanks in advance.
