I wanted to install Mahagony. For that I tried to compile latest
version of wxWindows.tar.gz file. I have system with RH6.2, 64 MB RAM,
gnome running. While configuring, last few lines are as given below.
creating wx-config
creating src/make.env
sed: can't read ./src/make.env.in: No such file or directory
creating src/makeprog.env
sed: can't read ./src/makeprog.env.in: No such file or directory
creating src/makelib.env
sed: can't read ./src/makelib.env.in: No such file or directory
creating Makefile
creating setup.h
Then when I did make I got the following lines.
[root@lvghomepc] /home/lvgandhi/wxWindows# make
Makefile:154: src//files.lst: No such file or directory
make: *** No rule to make target `src//files.lst'. Stop.
In src folder i have only 0 byte file make.env as got below.
[root@lvghomepc] /home/lvgandhi/wxWindows/src# l
total 2
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 1024 Feb 5 07:41 ./
drwxr-xr-x 8 root root 1024 Feb 5 07:41 ../
-rw-rw-r-- 1 root root 0 Feb 5 07:41 make.env
-rw-rw-r-- 1 root root 0 Feb 5 07:41 makelib.env
-rw-rw-r-- 1 root root 0 Feb 5 07:41 makeprog.env
Where I have gone wrong. What to do to successfully compile this?
