I compiled 2.4.0 and was able to get both X and sound configured. But during
the boot time, while loading modules, an error message displays can't load
snd-card-0. But sound works well. Also, another error message:
bad major or minor number with hda1.
With this, I am not able to mount the c drive under windows. But the old
kernel(2.2.16) works fine withour errors.
