Friends,
I need to install ReiserFS on my existing RH 6.2. For this purpose ive
compiled a new kernel (2.4.1) and replaced the one on the RH 6.2 boot disk
with this. Now the problem is every time I boot with this disk it boots the
native ext2 partition and not the one in the initrd. The original boot
kernel gave root device as 0x0834 when I checked that by rdev. rdev
newkernel 0x0834 does not helps.
Any suggestions????????
