No it is not normal at all to strip the case and lay down the machine bare
open..
No doubt it looks techy to showcase all those circuits, but it is not
advisable for many reasons: some of which are...
....It provides physical protection from dust ( which u cannot avoid at all
in this country) and from accidental spills etc., ( some have the habit of
doing everything near the PC like me......^@#^)
--- and also it shields u from the EM field emissions (whose exposure is
noted to cause some health problems especially to pregnant women ) ..
I would rather suggest u clean up the case completely..of the dust if any..
see that the processor fan is working and the cables are all properly placed
in a neat fashion ,so that they are not obstructing the air flow.., and the
place has some air circulation.. Many of us are operating our PC's without
AC, but with no problem at all..by following the above.. DO not place the PC
under something obscure...
If required Install another fan at the front..
and finally if u want to find out what the hell is really wrong with your PC
, i suggest the following Books:
## PC upgrade and maintenance by Mark Minasi
## Hardware Bibles by Bigelow and Winn Rosch..
##also another one by Meuller ( upgrading and repairing PC's)
They are really good
good luck
