Well, heres what we do:
Put squid in place, enable logging.
Run identd on your internal machines.
Run webalizer on the log files.
I have a small shell/perl script combo to generate HTML files with username/machine
ip/site visited.
If this can help you any.
You can block file access for selected types with sqiud acls, if you wish.
