Hi, I just checked my log files (/var/log/messages) recently and I ahd a lot of entries such as this: Feb 20 10:56:00 ho PAM_pwdb[12622]: authentication failure; (uid=0) -> sam for samba service Isn't this a report saying "authentication failure" for my user id. Because I do not remember typing wrong passwords etc. for an authentication failure to happen. How can I get rid of such messages in my log file.
