6.x is the latest.

One suggestion - use GPG instead of PGP.  No issues with patented
alogrithms there.

Make sure the same (or compatible) version of PGP/GPG is installed on the
other machines.  Copy over your private keys (under ~/.pgp or ~/.gnupg) to
the other machine and you can sign your emails using the same keys.
