Hi, I am runing a RH 6.2 on my small Universirty's student's server. Basically its doing everything like hosting,mailing and stuff. Everything was runing fine until I installed the latest GLIBC, using the rpm from redhat's site(I am not sure this is what caused it). From then on, whenever I (or someone else) tries to compile any C++ code, I get strange errors, most likely because of some corrupted libs. I have attached a file which shows the errors. I tried installing the latest GLIBC and GCC as downloaded from RH's site in rpm format, but still nothing works. More weirdly, I have gcc and glibc installed, but when I try to install something that needs gcc, it wont find it. /root]# rpm -qa|grep gcc gcc-c++-2.96-54 gcc-2.96-54 /root]# rpm -qa|grep glibc glibc-profile-2.1.3-22 glibc-2.1.3-21 glibc-devel-2.1.3-22 Please tell me how can I get my compiles fixed up, I am in a mess here..
