Well, I downloaded the patch and compiled mutt - no problems. You sure
your machine is OK? In particular, check if the GNU gettext package is
installed. On my RHL machine, the RPM is gettext-0.10.35-17.i386.rpm -
YMMV. Figure out your Debian one.
Also, try to run configure as ./configure --with-included-gettext along
with other options.
