[LIH] gtkyahoo problem

Hi
I am using gtkyahoo 0.16 . I am able to send instant messages and also
able to add friends but i am unable to receive messages. I am behind an
HTTP proxy and firewall. Yahoo messenger works fine from windows. has
somebody used any messenger client from linux behind a firewall?
