You don't get it.... What advantage you see to MS in providing their own linux?
They couldn't provide a good networking protocol when they had cover of
proprietary license and copy right. Samba team stripped them nude in street with
all the flaws and security holes. They showed how to implement SMB better.

MS well understands that open source is not their home turf, not even one where
they want to play. If they roll their own linux distro. all the proprietary
(Hell who derived this word? I have to copy/paste every time....) technologies
will be ripped off  it in a week with better implementations available.

That's just I was discussing with my colleague, about recent MS attacks on
linux/open source. We agreed that innovation of MS seem to have seized with NT.
Hardly any value addition is provided ever after....

Better move to LIG, it will save my time and some bandwidth too...
