Network Computing has come out with special edition on Linux with Debian CD.
The good part is the debian 2.2 potato distribution but ..

The bad part is..
1. Even though they are distributing debian CD's, most of the installation
article deals with RPM. It appears that some of the articles are reprint,
for example samba configuration file has CHIP as a work group. I remember
CHIP had a PCQUEST as workgroup in CHIP linux cd

2. A good write up on Oracle installation, but Oracle is not on CD. It would
have been better if they would have spent those glossy pages on Postgresql
or Mysql.

3. In mail server they expect new user to apply patches and compile Qmail
;-)

4. Debian packages for apache, zope and fax are already available on the CD
but again related articles starts from compiling the packages.

5. In short there is total mismatch of article and CD.

But nevertheless this is their first attempt on Linux and I am glad they are
*supporting* debian.

Well, Keep It UP Network Computing.
