Exactly what I posted (and illustrated with dig output and such).
And in fact, it _is_ a good policy not to put all your eggs into one basket
(or run all your services on a single machine). We found that out to our
cost when the box which hosted our primary _and_ secondary DNS services died
recently :-\

Instead of pointing the MX at his machine (which will take ~ 5 days to
propogate anyway) isn't it easier for Mani to ask his provider (ivllc /
hutchcity) to add an entry to their qmail rcpthosts file?
