As far as motorola modem(internal). V. Suresh was successful in configuring it under

After two months of desperate attempts, I finally found a new module for
my PCTel HSP56 Micromodem. After insmod ing it, My modem works
perfectly. This is my first email to LIH thru LInux. Now, I no longer
have to boot windoze just to surf or mail.
Those with this internal modem may find the module by name
pctel_pci.o at www.linmodems.org.
