Dear Linux user and Gurus,

I require some help in configuring Linux.

The machine is a Celeron 266 MHz with 64 MB of RAM, 4 GB hard disk.
NE2000 clone.
I have Windows 95 in one partition. I have loaded Linux (full install )
in another partition.
My requirement is to use Netscape as mail client and browser. Star
Office for word processing and spread sheets. I should also be able to
exchange files with my Win '95 partition and other Win '95 machines on
the local LAN. My machine is using another Win '95 machine on the LAN
as mail server and internet proxy. Small office setup.

My problem is this :
1. I am not able to connect to other machines on the LAN through
Netscape or PING unless I de-activate sendmail during boot-up.

2. Samba being installed, I can see the directories of other machines on
the LAN if I mount them individually. But is there any way to see all
the active machines through a GUI like in Windows ? And then select the
required directory on the required machine ?

Please send the reply to offlist as I am offlist for some time.

Regards.
Saravana Kumar
