Hi

Just for kicks, I installed postfix today evening on my home box. Configuring
it for a dialup is very easy (setting up a smarthost, configuring DNS etc).
[will add it as soon as I can to the hserus.net/dlhowto page soon, along with
exim, and later, much later, qmail]

Just one clarification though - local delivery (to user@localhost) was not
happening by default until I uncommented mailbox_command = /usr/bin/procmail -a
"$EXTENSION" though the other stuff worked well enough with the defaults.
Isn't any local mailer configured on postfix by default?

I guess this is a FAQ but this dialup is a bit too slow, so I'll rtfm tomorrow
at the office :)

Another thing I miss is the sendmail.mc where I could move my config changes
from version to version without editing sendmail.cf - but I guess, as main.cf
is in perfectly understandable english, I dont need to bother about it :)
