Hi,

Sbus seems to be supported on Linux Sparc. SuSE, Debian and RedHat (also
probably Ultra Linux) run on it. But with an old machine like the SS-2
probably the overall speed will be slow. AFAIK (which is not much since I
know nothing about the Sun systems) the Ultra machines are the new ones
and should run quite fast. Also what is silo (I'm yet to get the machine
and download the distro)?

(I'm getting the machine with 64MB RAM, 1GB SCSI-2 HDD, 20" monitor for
$150 (Rs 7000/-) ;-)

Thanks,
Indraneel
