I was on phone for more than 6 hours for supporting a teleinstallation of
linux over week end.

If you are planning to have a dual boot system, do exactly as follows.

1)Create windows partition. Size upto 5-6GB max.
2)Create another primary partition of around 1GB, as suggested above, next
to windows partition.
3)Now create the partition as and when required, as and where desired... No
problemo....

This will save you a lot of trouble....
