We are using squirrelmail - http://www.squirrelmail.com - with Courier IMAP and
Exim as the mailserver.
However, as it uses PHPIMAP (in the current PHP release) (and there was a
recent report of a buffer overflow in this - which has apparently been fixed in
the CVS version of PHP) we are moving away a bit.
You could try endymion mailman or IMP Horde
