In fact, this is one of the (if not the only) definitive howtos on SMTP AUTH
using sendmail (and Claus Assmann is a senior sendmail developer /
maintainer).
Try any doc under http://www.sendmail.org/~ca for a lot about sendmail - it's
almost like "All you wanted to know about sendmail ... but were afraid to
ask" :)
