Mutt 1.2.5 has been the latest stable version since quite a few months - and
afaik this imap bug is also a known issue. Indeed, the changelog shows a lot
of activity (bugfixes, general code cleanup etc) in mutt 1.2.5
Funny that various distros just woke up to the issue now ...
