I have to setup a Linux proxy server for a client who is taking a cable connection from us. Curently they have to sync data from three locations. For this they use MS access, with IIS, forwarding to a US based server. The data is in Arabic. Each database gets separate entries during the day, and they get synced later. Can this be duplicated in Linux? If yes, how, and which DB? Also, we wish to assign dynamic addresses to clients. For clients using Linux machines as caching proxies, how do I script this? Situation: Web<-->Dual homed host<-->MASQ'ed LAN For a dhcp assigned IP, I need to forward to the external interface and assign new rules for forwarding. (The Linux machine does NAT and caching. It is not configured as a firewall). Devdas Bhagat ---------------------------------------------- Find out more about this and other Linux India mailing lists at http://lists.linux-india.org/
