I think an 8.2.3 upgrade became necessary quite a while back ...

I'm surprised that a chinese server is configured so sensibly.
most of the machines I see delivering spam to my machines are chinese open relays 
running smi/svr4 or similar ancient rubbish.  Ditto with r00t attacks.
