Hi,
I just downloaded ( apt-get install kmidi ) from KDE 2.1. However when I
try to run kmidi from the Eterm it gives an eror
No sound card found.
The front end comes on the screen. I cannot play midi files.
I also have timidiy installed which plays the files from the command lines
fine. No problems. What could be the problem with kmidi ?
I have compiled as module sound support for my ES1371 sound card. Sound
works great except kmidi. I can play all other files including midi files
with timidity.
I searched in kmidi but could not find any option for the sound card
settings etc.
Anybody has got any ideas why kmidi could not find my sound card ?
