dear friends
i have tried to make host2 as realy agent for host1 by making change in
sendmail.cf file , putting
DShost2.svrec.ernet.in
line in the file , now when a'm checking for relaying by using mail -v
option with the name of some host say host3 like ([EMAIL PROTECTED])
the mail goes through host2 means relaying is working perfectly
now when i tried the same thing with ip no of hsot3
say
host1$ mail -v shubh@[xx.xx.xx.xx]
this mail dosn't follow the relay agents path the sending host connects
directly to the destination host
why so ?? any more changes needed in sendmail.cf
( i am not using m4 and .mc files )
