I am facing the same problem with SAMBA, I have KDE2.1. Try giving ip
instead of host name. It works for me though it's an annoyance. I have logged
in a bug against it. KFM developers haven't got back yet....
Hotmail is no standard site AFAICT. Try some other site especially some bank
site etc.
I can get to my ASP but it hangs then(Of course, for next step it tries to
load an activex control and boom.... :-))
