I think browsing thru the /proc directory might help.. there are couple of
files over there which provides stats abt theses devices..moreover you can
write a module to get the stats of the particular device from the /proc
directory.. i mean you can make an entry in the /proc directory which will
display the stats of the requested device.
/proc/devices
/proc/ioports
/proc/interrupts
maybe this helps...
