hi everybody,
   I just bought an avance logic 4000 chipset soundcard,only to discover
it
has no support in linux. The kernel does not support it and alsa says
nothing definite about this either. 
has anybody tried to configure this card. what about cmi 8738 chipset,is
it supported?
