Hi,
Are you Running RedHat? It seems the 2.2.x kernel sources do not have the 3c90x source
and you've got to patch up with the source available from 3com site. The debian lists
say to use the 2.2.5 patch for all of the 2.2.x series. I have tried with the 3c59x
modules but it just doesn't work for the 3c905C which I have. Both scyld.com and the
debian lists say that 3c59x should work for the 3c905 series of vortex chips but I've
been unable to get this working. The card is detected and the module is loaded and
ifconfig shows a proper output. All except data transfer. The 2.4.2 kernel sources do
not have the 3c90x module sources. At present I'm running Debian with RedHat kernel
and modules (shipped with the PC so it supports the card).
