Hello,

I have a Redhat Linux 7.0 installation and I was attempting upgrading some
packages using the up2date facility. It worked fine for a few upgrades,
however it all of a sudden started throwing an error as follows:

[/root]# up2date -l

Retrieving list of all available packages...

Removing installed packages from list of updates...
100.0%
Removing packages marked to skip from list...
100.0%
Getting headers for available packages...
There was a fatal RPM error. The message was:
Error reading header from package

I am however able to use rpm for installing/uninstalling packages. So RPM
doesnt seem to be the problem maker.

Any ideas?

Regards,
Ninad
