boot into linux and edit /etc/lilo.conf add an entry for others os to boot
from the sbr of the freebsd partition like this.
other = /dev/hda3
  label = freebsd
  table = /dev/hda

        where hda3 is the freebsd partition,somewhere at the end of the file.
freebsd uses the system boot record or the partition boot record to install
its boot loader.so lilo will pass control to the freebsd boot loader once
freebsd option is selected in lilo boot ptompt.note that freebsd will create
slices like ad0s1 etc,inside hda3 and the ufs partitions in linux will be
some thing like hda8,hda9 etc.the naming sequence will resume after naming
the partitions inside a dos extedned partition if any exist.
