        Because I am playing with the functions in libc on the runtime. 
The function I need from libc is getting resolved at the runtime. We don't
need to dlopen on linux machines, but on *BSD its a different story. At
least this is what I inferred.

The whole software is dependent on first overriding a function of libc,
and then calling it :-)
