There was a problem with gtkyahoo, that you were not able to wun it
behind a http proxy server. You could loging and send messages, but could
not
get any message from your friends. well quite recently this problem has been
solved and you can use YM completely behind HTTP-PROXY, be sure to edit the
~/.gtkyahoo/gtktahoorc file correctly (there's a sample.gtkyahoorc file
which
comes with the distribution). Get the latest version from the following
location.
http://members.nbci.com/craigemery/gtkyahoo-20010409.tar.gz
