so quite a bit ( ~1750 ) goes into swap, because free memory is low now (1552)
But it is not Mozilla which got swapped, some old pages where put there
and Mozilla took up the freed space. Note both cache and buffers have
been freed substantially ( around 9MB) .

so mozilla is taking up around 18 + 9 = 27 MB approx

swap remains as it is, but mozilla freed from main memory.

since there was quite a bit of free memory, mozilla takes that up. But I
am surprised at the swap used, ( a total of 32 MB, has been added
including swap )

These are all surmises, a top will get some more specific info, you can
also try memprof t see the amount of memory mozilla is actually using.
