I have conexant winmodem. Recently i obtained the driver for it from
oliteck.The driver works great with RH7, kernel 2.2.16-22, but trouble starts
when I use the kenel I have compiled ver 2.2.18 where in I have built in all
the driver for all my devices. The drivers supplied are in the form of a
modules with a script to insert them. The instance I run the run the script I
get the error code:XX
<SDFFDF>..................................................
..
(large no of hex digits )
finally
segmentation fault
and system hangs
.. So, I tried inserting each modules manually but only the last module
myserial.o results in this. Please help me any body so that I can eliminate
this error.
