If you used vm (the xemacs mailer) then rmail is in (more or less) mbox format.
So do
$ mutt -f /home/sukrit/RMAIL
in mutt, select all the messages by pressing T .
Then, press ; to apply the operation to all tagged mails, then s (save). Save
to /var/spool/mail/sukrit
voila
