There is actually a Turbo C clone in Linux..called XWPE. Have'nt used it much
though. Another IDE is anjuta. Search for these at http://freshmeat.net.
Further, you could take time to use vi and XEmacs to do stuff. Actually,
XEmacs is probably the uber IDE available;)
