If you have a windoze partition, you can use most of the DLLs there. But you 
have to let wine know what to use as the system directory. So you'll have to 
edit the wine config file (normally /etc/wine.conf) and set the paths there 
correctly. You can point your C: to the windows partition that I'm sure you 
would have mounted somewhere. 

That should do it. It worked pretty well for me.
