Hi people,

This is kinda simple I guess, but I can't figure out how to get it to work.
I need to know what package provides a specific file. For instance, if I want
to know what package provides ifconfig, how do I go about it. I checked the
manpages. Here's what I tried:
1. rpm -qai
        Gives information - no use.
2. rpm -qal
Lists all files installed - not package wise tho - so no use.
3. rpm -q --whatprovides ifconfig
        None - it claims

Any solutions ? I personally don't use rpm much - so I'm kinda stuck here.

thanx,
Faisal.
