Has anyone installed netscape6 on linux ?
I tried to use their installer... it downloaded the first component.. and
then started with navigator.. and I decided to take a short nap while it
downloaded... ended up taking a longer one... but when I woke up.. it had
stopped about 5-10% into the navigator thing.
After a lot of searching I found the files it downloaded in /tmp/.tmp.xi.0/
(that would be the most obvious choice of name and place to store the
stuff wouldn't it? ;-)
browser.xpi: Zip archive data, at least v1.0 to extract
xpcom.xpi: Zip archive data, at least v1.0 to extract
(really optimised compression format too!!)
is it possible to download the entire stuff without using their installer
??(or better still are there rpms for it avbl anyplace ??)
