About 15 minutes ago I completed the migration of the LIH mailing list
to lists.sourceforge.net. As far as I can tell, the migration went
without a hitch. All of you who were subscribed to the list in digets
format were moved to the equivalent one in the new home of the LIH
lists.
Here are some things to note:
* Posting to the list
Please post all future queries to the list to
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
Even though there is a alias @ lists.linux-india.org pointing to the new
home, you MUST NOT count on it continuing that way.
* Archives
I will try to migrate the archives over to the new home. But I am not
very hopeful that this would even be possible. The old
http://lists.linux-india.org/ archives will operate for a while.
* Password to maange your subscription to the list
The passwords could not be migrated. So you will need to go to the new
subscription management interface and ask the mailman software to email
you your password if you want.
* Who is adminning the list?
At this point, Raju Mathur ([EMAIL PROTECTED]), Biju Chacko
([EMAIL PROTECTED]) and I are going to be adminning it. At
some
point, I will drop off and other voluntary admins may be recruited from
the
lists.
